The 1st day of an advanced windsurfing course, so it was good to catch up with some old friends from previous courses. After the admin it was down to Rhosneigr to rig up suitable kit & get on the water. Rigged up my 4.6 with my new board the Bee 260 85l (Billy Bargain at only £45.50) After some tips on rigging etc took it down to the waterfront and decided that it was best to go for my 4.2 so spent another 30mins derigging and re-rigging but it was worth it in the end. Got on the water and shot of like a bullet, got trounched by a big wave mangaed to waterstart quickly and got a wave back in. Kept on spinning out and it seemed to be the way of the day couldn't get any back foot pressure. Thought it was the conditions but later found out it was just the set up.
Had some good runs out in the waves tested my nerve in the big waves and came out unscathed.
All in all an excellent 1st day on the water.
